We are extremely pleased to have obtained full planning consent for a new dwelling in the Green Belt for our client.
This method of obtaining planning consent stemmed from the Mansell v Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council case, whereby a Class Q (Change of use from agricultural building to Class C3 Dwellinghouse) development is deemed a material consideration when determining an application for a new development scheme.
A Class Q was first obtained before a subsequent full planning application for a new dwelling.
Please get in touch should you have any queries regarding potential avenues to obtaining planning consent for residential development, we'd be happy to assist.
